The Company

Our client, a growing fintech company, is seeking a Part-Time Accountant on a 2-month contract to support the year-end closing and audit process.

The Role

This role will support the year-end financial close process across multiple group entities, including coordinating external audits, preparing audit schedules and reconciliations, and resolving accounting issues with internal stakeholders. The incumbent will also assist with technical accounting projects such as purchase price allocation for asset acquisitions and valuation of convertible instruments in accordance with IFRS. Additionally, the role will provide support for month-end and year-end accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Your Profile

You possess a Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance and/or a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA, with several years of accounting experience, particularly in year-end closing, external audit support, with exposure to the valuation of corporate transactions, including purchase price allocations, and/or financial instruments such as convertible loans or convertibles. Experience within the fintech, payments, or financial services industry would be advantageous. You should be able to work independently in a structured and proactive manner, possess strong English communication skills, and be available to commence on short notice and commit throughout the full 8-week engagement period.
