Job Summary

Manage full accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, financial reporting, compliance with SFRS and GST, and support audits and process improvements to ensure accurate financial management and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for presentation to senior management
  • Develop schedules and perform reconciliations to support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Process payments to suppliers accurately and timely to maintain good vendor relationships
  • Monitor and report cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations to meet statutory requirements
  • Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and compliance reviews
  • Assist in year-end closing activities and prepare audit schedules to support external audits
  • Identify and implement process improvements within finance functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform ad-hoc finance duties as required to support business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Prior experience working in a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP
  • Knowledge of GST and Singapore compliance requirements
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Other Information

Working Hours:

  • 5-day work week with choice of schedule: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm or 8:30 am - 6:00 pm

Flexible Work Arrangement:

  • Saturday work once every 3 weeks with Work from Home option
  • Additional Work from Home arrangements available based on operational needs
