Key Responsibilities (Financial Accounting - Core Scope):
- Handle full set of accounts including AP / AR / GL / IC, covering receipts, payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and schedules for management, auditors, and tax agents
- Responsible for inventory control, job costing, stock reconciliation, and stock taking
- Prepare and file quarterly GST reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (e.g., IRAS, ACRA, MAS)
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and government agencies as needed
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and related management reports
- Support the Engineering Team to track the material and labour cost of production of hardware products
Additional / Supporting Responsibilities:
- Apply for and manage ESG or other Government-related grants, incentives, and support schemes, including documentation, submissions, and follow-ups
- Apply for and manage Customs-related documentations and payments, required to export the Company's hardware products
- Provide general administrative support, including travel arrangements such as air ticket bookings
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with 3-4 years of full set accounting experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines with diligence
- Mature, meticulous, confident, well-organised, and willing to learn
Candidates with an Advantage:
- Prior experience in audit or an AI start-up environment
- Strong communication skills in English
