We are currently working with a Real Estate Private Equity firm that is investing across Asia. They are looking for an Accountant who will be supporting the finance and operations functions.
Please note that this is a 3-months contract role, and you will be reporting to senior finance leaders. The position involves routine financial reporting, cash management, and assisting with compliance and administrative matters. It is suitable for candidates with strong accounting experience and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Audit Support:
- Prepare quarterly fund-level reporting schedules and consolidation files.
- Assist in reviewing monthly financial reports and loan schedules.
- Maintain and update various capital-related schedules.
- Draft notices related to capital calls, returns, and distributions.
- Support the year-end audit process, including reviewing financial statements and responding to audit requests.
- Contribute to tax-related tasks when required.
Cash & Treasury Support:
- Prepare payment instructions and monitor cash flow positions.
- Assist with banking-related tasks, including account setup and documentation.
- Support loan administration, including preparing drawdown and rollover instructions.
Corporate and Administrative Support:
- Assist with corporate governance documentation such as board resolutions and annual filings.
- Help maintain internal records and registers.
- Participate in various ad hoc assignments and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in the real estate or private equity fund industry is an advantage.
