Client Fronting Roles and Responsibilities

  • Account management for RSME Loans Portfolio (exclude Trade accounts).
  • Repricing (client retention and anti-attrition exercise, end to end process).
  • CDD Periodic & Event Trigger reviews and assessments.
  • Review and process AAs for RSME customers Credit Requests (change in structure, change in ownership / guarantors, change in security arrangement and other credit requests that requires AA review processes).
  • Review of RSME accounts (except Trade accounts) undergoing litigation (SCCB report), exceptional reviews (OBIEE report) and adverse news (Production Order/ECDD Event Trigger) per Portfolio Management Framework – Simplified Review (SR) and Full Review (FR).
  • Service support for RSME segment of customers i.e. day to day customer handling supports (statements requests, redemption, prepayments, letter of consents, enquiries on interest calculation and etc).
  • Perform data ratification / updating and renewal AAs for Overseas Properties / SBLC under RSME segment.
  • Redemption / cancellation of facilities for RSME AAs.
  • Cross selling of Maybank's products (referrals to other units).
  • Business Support - Updating of ESIMS portal for borrowers with changes in constitution/status/shareholders, generation of EFS trade renewal letters. BRCO and BCCO Roles and Responsibilities
  • BCRO rep of SME Banking. As a NFR Practitioner and appointed Business Risks Control Officer (BCRO) of RSME, be responsible for the timely submission of risks assessment reports and review of operational risks and mitigating controls.
  • ORA Assessment review and advice project / process owners on inherent risks and suggest mitigation measures.
  • BCP coordinator for CBD.
  • Update the Standard Operations Procedure (SOP).

Job Responsibilities

  • Re-pricing of Commercial Property Loans: Actively follow up with customer to increase loan retention rate and increase our fee income by collection repricing processing. Cross sell while engaging with customers. Work closely with cash & sales management team to gear up and wallet size customer's portfolio. Feedback interest package of competitive bank to product team to ensure our interest rates are competitive. Includes TDSR Quarterly reporting and end-to-end repricing process (from negotiation to follow up, signing of LO and follow up on debiting of repricing fee, prepayment/DRP to implementation of repricing conversion).
  • CDD and ECDD periodic & event trigger review: Work closely with ECDD and FCC team in conducting periodic & event trigger review on Personal Investment Vehicle (PIV), Politically Exposed Person (PEP) and other ad-hoc triggered accounts.
  • SR and FR reviews arising from SCCB report, OBIEE report and Event Triggers: Work closely with Credit Control, ECDD and FCC team in conducting exception reviews (arises from OBIEE report, SCCB report (litigations) and Production orders /Event triggered accounts).
  • RSME customer after-sales service and support: Attend to all RSME customer's servicing requests. Work closely with various internal department to ensure all requests and customer's problems are resolved timely. e.g. statement requests, signing condition, change of addresses, interest computation, redemption, prepayment, letter of consent, discharge of ACRA charge and etc).
  • ESIMS portal update (Maker): Updating of company/shareholders information /uploading of documents in ESIMS portal for updating purpose.
  • Review and assess annual Risk Assessment (RA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), BCP, Pandemic Plan, BCM Attestation and Level of Disruption (LoD) at the Unit level: Ensure business continuity for the respective business function within the unit.
  • Ensure all staff contacts are updated for Call Tree Exercise/activation: Regular update of BU's BCP Plan.
  • Perform RCSA exercise by coordinating risk assessment activities and discussion: Work with process experts and Unit Head to develop a comprehensive risk assessment of the Unit.
  • Perform escalation and input of RIF: Includes RIF entry into IMDC.
  • Regularly update the Standard Operations Procedure (SOP) manual: Regularly update the documentation of improved and revised procedures. Provide proper updates in areas of improvement and closure of identified gaps in processes.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Business, Accounting, Banking & Finance and related fields.
  • Certified NFR Practitioner to manage the BRCO role and functions.
  • < 3 yrs experience in CDD, ECDD review and assessments as well as <3 yrs experience in a repricing and business support role.
  • 3-5 yrs in identifying and emplacing relevant controls to operational risks assessments and BCP related role as well as 3-5 yrs experience in AA reviews.
  • Effective team player with a positive attitude, professionalism and embraces the TIGER values with high level of integrity and ethics.
  • Good analytical and implementation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and drive change across a complex organization and multiple stakeholders.
  • Commitment to Customer Excellence.
  • Incline to provide good Customer Relationship Management.
  • Strong Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Logical thinking.
  • Proficient in suite of MS Office Applications.
