Account Executive

Our client is looking for an Accounts Executive to join their finance team. This role will support a broad range of accounting and reporting activities, with exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with management reporting and financial analysis
• Prepare financial and statutory reporting
• Support tax and other regulatory compliance matters
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on audit matters
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Support accounting matters relating to business and operational activities
• Assist with internal controls, process improvements and other finance projects
• Handle ad-hoc accounting and finance-related matters as required

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience within a commercial, trading, logistics or MNC environment would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CA Singapore would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
