Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Challenger Sales Representative to join our team. As a Challenger, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by challenging customers&apos thinking, providing valuable insights, and guiding them toward innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is assertive, confident, and excels in complex sales environments.
- Challenge customer assumptions by proactively engage customers in thought-provoking conversations to challenge their assumptions and broaden their perspective.
- Provide new insights and industry knowledge that position our products/services as innovative solutions.
- Lead sales discussions with confidence and take control of the conversation to guide customers through the decision-making process.
- Conduct in-depth research to understand the customer&aposs business, needs, and challenges.
- Tailor solutions to address specific customer pain points and demonstrate a deep understanding of their unique requirements.
- Act as an educator by teaching customers something new about their industry, market trends, or potential areas for improvement.
- Provide valuable insights that position our offerings as strategic assets.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships and develop trusted advisor relationships with key executives and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Holds ownership of bigger sized portfolio revenue and account matrix.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of new opportunities, present, negotiate and close to meet sales quotas.
- Collaborating with cross-functional internal departments to ensure that clients requirements are understood and met.
- Assist with challenging client request or issue escalation as needed.
- Potential to lead one other team member
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in any discipline with preference for technology related discipline and minimum 8 years sales experience in telco and solutions selling
- In-depth knowledge of telco & system integrator environment will be preferred
- Demonstrated ability to challenge customer thinking and provide unique insights tailored to the specific needs and challenges of enterprise and government clients.
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and the ability to navigate procurement processes within enterprise and government organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust at the executive level.
- Confidence in leading sales conversations and taking control of the sales process, especially in engagements with enterprise or government decision-makers.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment and compliance considerations relevant to enterprise or government customers.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a service-oriented and solution-based sales environment.
