Account Assistant - Construction Industry (Full Time)
Job Location: Shun Li Industrial Park
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 - 17:30 hrs)

We are a dynamic and expanding construction company based in Singapore, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
Job Description:
The role requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes efficiently.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records using Synergix ERP (System interface in both English and Chinese).
- Prepare budgets for each construction projects.
- Process staff expense claims in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the external accountant for monthly closings.
- Liaise with auditors for annual audit requirements.
- Provide support for other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by Directors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- LCCI, Diploma or similar qualification in accounting or related field
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese to communicate with Chinese-speaking directors, senior project managers and workers.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with Synergix accounting system is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work at Kaki Bukit (office).
