Job Summary:

As a Legal Secretary, you will be providing key administrative support to 5-6 fee earners. Key Responsibilities:

Provide secretarial support to 5-6 fee earners, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and screening all incoming and outgoing communications.
Coordinate all travel and submit expenses and claims in line with firm policies.
Track and manage all documents and actions required for financial transaction closings, including formatting and preparing draft agreements.
Ensure timely completion of signatures, notarizations, and regulatory filings.
Organize and compile closing binders post-transaction.
Track time entries and draft and finalise monthly billing narratives.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

Proven experience of minimally 5-10 years as a Legal Secretary in a reputable law firm is required, preferably with some exposure to an offshore set up.
Exemplary spoken and written communication skills in English are essential.
Proficiency in handling legal documentation is a must, and a familiarity with banking and finance processes is highly advantageous.
Proactive, structured, driven and capable of juggling multiple priorities and timezones at once, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills
Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player.
Demonstrates resilience and the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations with exceptional professional conduct and discretion
