Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge Our technology firm, based in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in procurement within the M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers [locally and overseas], to contract negotiation and final purchase orders
Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their suitability in terms of quality, price, and reliability.
Oversee company facilities, logistics and shipping arrangements (local & international)
Monitor, support and ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, ISO and HSE requirements.
Manage and maintain all licensing/insurance renewals for the company.
Handling of the company's vehicles maintenance and licencing.
Resolve supplier disputes and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or performance.
Support cross-functional teams in project planning and procurement needs.
Monitor the inventory count and manage inventory records to anticipate future needs as well as ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the section manager or supervisor.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in procurement, preferably in M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of Singapore's procurement regulations and best practices.
