Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge Our technology firm, based in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in procurement within the M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers [locally and overseas], to contract negotiation and final purchase orders
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their suitability in terms of quality, price, and reliability.
  • Oversee company facilities, logistics and shipping arrangements (local & international)
  • Monitor, support and ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, ISO and HSE requirements.
  • Manage and maintain all licensing/insurance renewals for the company.
  • Handling of the company's vehicles maintenance and licencing.
  • Resolve supplier disputes and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or performance.
  • Support cross-functional teams in project planning and procurement needs.
  • Monitor the inventory count and manage inventory records to anticipate future needs as well as ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the section manager or supervisor.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in procurement, preferably in M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of Singapore's procurement regulations and best practices.
