. Student Mentoring: Conduct regular individual check-ins to build rapport, provide a listening ear, guide students through personal challenges and encourage positive behavioural changes.

. Crisis Intervention: Act as a first responder for students experiencing emotional distress, behavioural difficulties or disciplinary conflicts. Assist in de-escalating situations and refer cases requiring further intervention to the relevant school personnel.
Behavioural Intervention: Facilitate guided reflection and restorative conversations to help students recognise the consequences of their actions, develop self-regulation skills and make responsible decisions.

. Student Reintegration: Support students returning from suspension, prolonged absenteeism or other periods of disengagement through regular check-ins, mentoring and monitoring of their adjustment to school routines.

2. Operational Student Management Support

. Supervision of Students: Supervise students undergoing in-school suspension, Reflection Time or detention to ensure adherence to school expectations and completion of assigned tasks. Facilitate guided reflections and appropriate activities to reinforce positive behaviours.

. School and Vicinity Patrols: Conduct regular and ad hoc patrols of school premises and designated areas in the immediate vicinity of the school, as directed by the Student Management (SM) team, to monitor student behaviour, identify potential safety concerns and encourage adherence to school rules and regulations.

. Student Management Case Support: Assist the SM team in managing disciplinary cases, including preliminary fact-finding, taking and documenting student statements, gathering relevant information and maintaining case records.

. Management of Student Incidents: Respond to requests for assistance from teachers and school personnel in managing student misconduct, including lesson skipping, defiance, peer conflicts and other behavioural concerns. Provide immediate support and refer cases requiring further action to the relevant school personnel.

. Follow-up on Student Misconduct: Conduct check-ins with students involved in disciplinary incidents, monitor behavioural progress and provide updates to relevant school personnel to support sustained improvement.
3. Programme Development & Facilitation

. Engagement Activities: Plan and facilitate individual or small-group sessions on anger management, emotional regulation, self-esteem, social skills, conflict resolution and responsible decision-making.

. Student Engagement Programmes: Support school-based, after-school engagement and Student Lounge programmes, including sports, arts, external learning journeys and life-skills workshops, to promote constructive engagement and positive peer relationships.

. Targeted Group Intervention: Design and facilitate small-group interventions for students with similar behavioural or social-emotional needs, with the aim of strengthening positive habits, peer relationships and school connectedness
4. Stakeholder Collaboration

. Partnership with School Personnel: Work closely with the Student Management (SM) team, Student Development Teams (SDT), Year Heads (YHs), Form Teachers, School Counsellors
and other relevant personnel to identify students requiring intervention and provide coordinated support.

. Early Identification and Referral: Assist in identifying early warning signs of student disengagement, including irregular attendance, repeated misconduct, social withdrawal and difficulties with peer relationships. Refer concerns promptly to the appropriate school personnel.

. Case Discussions and Coordination: Participate in relevant case discussions, meetings and reviews with SM, SDT and Educational Support personnel, when required by the school, to coordinate interventions and monitor student progress.
5. Case Documentation, Monitoring & Reporting

. Case Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of student engagements, mentoring sessions, interventions, disciplinary case support, home visits and follow-up actions using school-approved documentation systems.

. Student Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of students receiving intervention in areas such as attendance, behaviour, engagement and achievement of agreed intervention goals.

. Regular Case Updates: Provide timely updates to relevant school personnel on interventions undertaken, emerging concerns and recommendations for further support.

. Periodic Reporting: Submit reports summarising student engagement activities, case progress, intervention outcomes and areas requiring further attention, according to the frequency and format stipulated by the school.

. Intervention Review: Work with relevant school personnel to review the effectiveness of interventions and recommend adjustments where necessary.
