WSHO cum ECO

Responsibilities:

• Execute duties in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Regulations, and Environmental Public Health Act.
• Implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards.
• Develop and deliver targeted safety training programs for employees and management.
• Coordinate investigations of workplace accidents and incidents, analyze causes, and develop action plans.
• Support construction site management in implementing project-specific HSE programs, including preparation and management of Safe Work Procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of workplaces, equipment, and tools to verify compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to health and safety matters for accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build and sustain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years relevant WSHO experience in construction projects.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower.
• Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environment Agency.
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated through effective risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Problem-solving skills applied to develop and implement corrective safety measures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
