WSH Officer

Job Description

• Implement and enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Monitor workers adherence to safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., MOM, WSH Act, relevant codes of practice)
• Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and external authorities on safety matters
• Maintain proper documentation of safety records, reports, and permits
• Review risk assessments (RA) and safe work procedures (SWP)
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent
• Registered WSHO with MOM
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in LTA project
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
