WSH Officer (Infrastructure Projects)

What you'll be doing

• Advise and support the Project Manager on all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) matters

• Lead the implementation and monitoring of EHS policies, safety plans and site procedures

• Conduct risk assessments and recommend effective control measures to mitigate site hazards

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company safety policies and codes of practice

• Organise safety trainings, briefings and initiatives to promote a strong safety culture on site

• Implement and maintain WSH management systems and safety documentation

• Perform regular site inspections and manage safety audits

• Monitor workplace safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Support overall site safety operations and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering

• 4 - 5 years of working experience in construction or infrastructure projects

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) certification

• Good knowledge of local WSH regulations and safety management systems (e.g. OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001)

• Experience in major infrastructure projects will be an advantage

• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a site-based environment
