Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer
Job Description
- Implement and enforce of the company Safety Management System (SMS).
- Implement and review of Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Risk Assessments (RA), and Emergency Response Plans (ERP) for all dredgers related activities and project site
- Conduct and attend WSH Committee Meeting and put up safety recommendation report.
- Enforce company safety rules and regulations across all stakeholders. Take corrective actions for non-compliance.
- Work closely with the project team to proactively eliminate safety, security, health, and environmental risks.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations, including timely submission of all mandatory reports and documents.
- Conduct investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Implement all safety regulation and promote strong safety culture across all levels of the organization
- Work closely with the Project Manager in site activities including oversea project.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction/marine field
- Willing to travel for oversea
- MOM registered WSH Officer
- Familiar with marine industry operations and safety standards
