Develop, implement, and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with statutory requirements.
Conduct environmental and risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and follow up on preventive measures.
Organize and conduct WSH training and awareness, toolbox meeting, safety briefings, environmental and hygiene practices for workers and supervisors.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and client's safety requirements.
Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation required by law and project requirements.
Promote safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Implement and monitor the project's Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in compliance with NEA and regulatory requirements.
Carry out daily inspections on site to identify potential environmental issues such as vector control, water pollution, air/noise pollution, and waste management.
Develop and implement vector control programs, including regular inspections and treatment against mosquito breeding.
Liaise with authorities (MOM, SCDF, NEA), consultants, and project stakeholders on environmental matters.
Prepare environmental inspection reports, monitoring records, and compliance submissions.
Support project management team in ensuring sustainability and environmental compliance.
Requirements:
Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM.
Registered Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Environmental, Safety, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/building projects.
Strong knowledge of WSH legislation, risk management, and incident investigation.
Strong knowledge of NEA regulations, vector control, and environmental monitoring.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
