As a CBRE WSH Officer, you'll oversee the Workplace Safety and Health policies and plans - implementation of both the current and revised.

This job is a part of the Safety Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the Protocols, as well as the local laws and regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct routine site safety inspections to identify unsafe acts, conditions, and non-compliance across work areas and contractor zones.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety requirements, including PPE usage, permit-to-work systems, and safe work procedures.
  • Respond to safety incidents, near misses, and hazards, performing investigations, root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide on-site safety coaching and intervention to address unsafe behaviours and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, including inspection logs, incident reports, and corrective action tracking.
  • Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness briefings, while reviewing and updating risk assessments and safe work procedures.
  • Verify contractor safety compliance, including documentation, certifications, training records, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and report safety performance using key indicators, supporting audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support project and event safety planning, emergency preparedness, and implementation of safety enhancements, ensuring full compliance with regulations and standards.


What You'll Need

  • Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C) with valid registration as a WSHO with MOM.
  • Minimum 3 years of practicing WSHO in building construction or engineering.
  • Advantageous Qualifications: Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) or Environmental Control Coordinator (ECC) certification.
  • Ability to collaborate with client and stakeholders and coordinate with account teams for consistent policy implementation.
