Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in implementing appropriate Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Safety Supervisors to ensure all safety processes and regulations are strictly adhered to by all workmen on site.
- Assist the WSHO in conducting regular site safety inspections, ensuring that all non-compliances are properly recorded and closed out promptly.
- Support the maintenance and proper documentation of Occupational Safety and Health records.
- Identify, highlight, and report non-compliances and potential safety risks to the WSHO, and follow up on mitigation and corrective measures.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and conduct of safety briefings, Toolbox Meetings, and other safety-related campaigns, events, programs, and training sessions.
- Provide safety supervision support where relevant and when required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in the Construction Industry.
