JOB DESCRIPTION
. Develop, implement, and maintain WSH plans and programs to ensure continuous improvement in WSH performance and compliance with contractual requirements
. Ensure compliance with the WSH Act, other relevant legislation, and contractual WSH requirements to guarantee the safety of all personnel.
. Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure work activities adhere to WSH standards.
. Organise and participate in WSH education programs such as training sessions, talks, and other activities aimed at fostering a safe and healthy working environment.
. Identify unsafe work practices or conditions and recommend appropriate control measures.
. Liaise and communicate with contractors regarding WSH matters, ensuring clear and effective communication.
. Participate and assist in internal and external WSH related audits.
. Follow up on all outstanding safety-related issues to ensure timely resolution.
. Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor to enhance WSH performance.
JOB REQUIREMENT
. Advance Certificate in WSH (Level B) and other relevant Safety & Health Certificates
. Proven ability to work collaboratively with contractors and internal teams
. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in similar role
. Strong knowledge and compliance of the WSH Act and other relevant legislation
. Proficiency in Microsoft (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
. Good communication (written, spoken & presentation), interpersonal and relationship management skills
