About the Role

As a key member of the editorial team, the Writer plays a vital role in shaping MEN'S FOLIO Singapore's voice across print, digital, and social platforms. This candidate should be a sharp, curious storyteller with strong editorial instincts and a passion for fashion, culture, and contemporary lifestyle, able to consistently develop compelling ideas and craft engaging narratives. This is a full-time position based in Singapore, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the editorial team to conceptualise, research, write, and produce compelling, culturally relevant content for Men's Folio Singapore across print, digital, and social platforms.
• Pitch and develop original story ideas spanning fashion, grooming, watches, culture, entertainment, and lifestyle.
• Contribute editorial and creative ideas across Men's Folio Singapore's online and offline channels, including social media, video, branded content, special projects, and events.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in fashion, luxury, entertainment, and youth culture to ensure content remains timely and forward-thinking.
• Ensure all editorial content is delivered accurately, creatively, and on schedule, while maintaining Men's Folio Singapore's editorial standards and voice.
• Assist in planning and executing editorial shoots, including creative direction support, talent coordination, and on-ground production when required.
• Undertake additional editorial and creative responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma (preferably in Journalism, Fashion, or related field).
• Positive, collaborative team player with initiative and curiosity.
• Strong storyteller with a passion for well-researched, engaging lifestyle content across fashion, culture, and contemporary lifestyle.
• Strong cultural awareness with the ability to translate emerging trends into timely, relevant stories for the Men's Folio audience.
• Good understanding of digital writing, including SEO basics, with strong visual and aesthetic sensibility.
• Active contributor in brainstorming sessions, with confidence in pitching and developing ideas collaboratively.
• Eager to learn end-to-end editorial and commercial processes, including ideation, writing, and shoot production aligned with Men's Folio's voice and standards.
