Job Title: Workshop Manager

Job Objective: To carry out high-quality and efficient vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with brand requirements.

Reports To: Aftersales Manager

Manages: Workshop Technical Supervisor and Body/Painting Supervisor, Mechanical & Quick Repair Team Leaders, Mechanics and Apprentices, Painters/Panel Beaters and Apprentices, Diagnostics, Warranty, Dispatcher, Quality Inspector, In-house Trainer, Tool Administrator, Drivers, Car Washers

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the allocation of work orders to workshop technicians.

2. Ensure high-quality repairs and develop action plans to improve quality.

3. Perform diagnosis and functional testing on complex vehicle issues.

4. Support workshop technicians in improving their diagnostic and testing skills.

5. Conduct road tests with customers when necessary to identify issues.

6. Provide professional assistance and support to technicians on challenging repairs.

7. Oversee workshop processes within the service department.

8. Manage, guide, and motivate service department staff.

9. Monitor the type and status of repair work.

10. Supervise compliance with company policies and regulations among employees.

11. Organize regular workshop meetings and maintain records.

12. Conduct final inspections of body and paint repair vehicles.

13. Supervise workshop cleanliness and ensure proper disposal of waste.

14. Monitor rework/redo cases, analyze them regularly, and promptly create action plans.

15. Oversee and guide the work of workshop supervisors and conduct evaluations.

16. Monitor workshop supervisors in managing repair time and processes.

17. Conduct regular staff evaluations.

18. Supervise internal trainers in staff training activities.

19. Report regularly to the After-sales Manager.
