Position: Workshop Machinist/Technician
Location: Tuas - Near MRT, approximately 5-7 minutes walk
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary (commensurate with experience): S$2,300-S$2,500 Basic Monthly + AWS / Variable Bonus of up to 27.7% of Total Base Pay, subject to business and individual performance + 14 Days Annual Leave + Meal & Site Allowances for OT Work

Key Responsibilities

Setup, operate and maintain conventional lathe, milling, drilling and other machining equipment.
Perform machining and repair of turbocharger components, including casings, turbine blades, rotors and other mechanical parts.
Carry out turning, milling, drilling, tapping, boring and thread repair according to engineering requirements.
Perform dimensional checks using micrometers, vernier calipers, boremeter and other measuring tools.
Carry out turbocharger dismantling, inspection, repair and assembly when needed.
Maintain machines, tools and work areas in good condition and follow 5S, safety and quality requirements.
Support workshop improvement activities to improve quality, safety and productivity.
Carries out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Precision or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience as a Machinist, Mechanical Technician or Workshop Technician.
Hands-on experience with lathe, milling, and drilling machines.
Able to interpret engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.
Experience in turbocharger, rotating equipment, marine or heavy machinery repair is an advantage.
Hands-on, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
Must be able to work overtime if required, inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
