Job Overview:
The Workshop Executive is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery. This role involves managing staff, resources, inventory, and equipment while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. The Workshop Executive also ensures proper scheduling, quality control, and record-keeping to support smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities, ensuring timely and efficient workflow.
- Manage workshop staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance.
- Oversee inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure proper availability, functionality, and maintenance.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks on work performed to maintain service standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work schedules and inventories, completed jobs, equipment usage, and resource allocation.
- Oversee puchases and invoices
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Liaising with customers on servicing and scheduling and adhoc maintainence.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and ensure workshop readiness at all times.
- Proposed to managers on costings.
- Report to management on operational performance, staff productivity, and key performance goals.
Requirements
- Min 5 years experience in workshop operations, supervision, or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment, machinery, and workshop processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
