Responsibilities:
As the WSH Coordinator, you shall be responsible for assisting the management team in the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of Workplace Safety and Health requirements in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary legislation. This role focuses on promoting a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and preventing workplace accidents.
Scope of Duties
Preparation and submission of Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) & MOS for each project.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Monitor project operations to ensure compliance with MOM regulations, WSH Act, and environmental requirements.
Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure safety compliance throughout project execution.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and recommend preventive measures.
Prepare, maintain, and update all safety documentation, reports, and records.
Organize and conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings for site personnel.
Implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) rules, regulations, and safe work practices among workers.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Candidate must possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Coordinator) & MOM approved Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) certificate
Familiar with Singapore MOM regulations and WSH Act.
Other WSH-related certifications will be an added advantage
Hands-on experience with RA, SWP, MOS & MOM inspections
