To be able to effectively assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down when deemed necessary.
. Dealing with authorities, staffs, client's representatives, public, neighbours and other interested parties on matters related to safety & health.
. Conduct regular inspection and see to it that person responsible for the NC recorded or raised by interested parties are informed to perform corrective actions with photos evidence of closure.
. Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of all corrective actions taken
. Ensure reporting of incident comply with legal requirement.
. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Environmental Management System of work site
. Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions to ensure environment compliance
. Advise Project Manager on site environmental issues and solutions
. Report and recommend on remedial measures on environmental issues
. Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme to PM
. Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of staff and workers in maintaining good environmental health standards in the construction site
. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
. Preferable to have minimum 4 years of experience in building/ civil projects
. Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) cum Workplace Safety Health Officer (WSHO)
. Possess a level of physical fitness appropriate to the job requirements, keen observation and knowledge of WSH requirements to enforce safety compliance at the workplace
. Candidate with HDB experience would be an advantage
