Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO/ Chemical Industry)

• Basic: $5,500 - $6,500

• Location: Ubi, walking distance from MRT

• Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Review and implement WSH policies, procedures and safety requirements.

• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and Risk Assessments.

• Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety compliance.

• Manage PTW, Work-at-Height and other high-risk activities.

• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.

• Conduct safety training and maintain safety records.

• Support ISO 45001 implementation and audits.

• Liaise with MOM, SCDF, NEA and other authorities when required.

• Review and sign off project safety plans.

Requirements

• Must be registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).

• Minimum 5 years of Safety Officer experience in engineering / construction.

• Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, Risk Assessment and site safety.

• Hands-on experience with ISO 45001.
