Job Description:
- Advise and assist the occupier of the worksite to identify and assess any forseeable risks, control measures and mitigations.
- Recommend the occupier or person in-charge of the worksite to take reasonable practicable measures to minimise or eliminate identified risks.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure RA & SWP has been followed.
- Assist management to implement and review WSHEMS and IMS (Integrated Management System).
- Assist in Internal and External audit and its Improvement Programme & Maintaining the Company's IMS sustaining the ISO45001&14001(Safety & Environmental).
- Assist to Prepare and Implement PTW & Lifting Plan, Fall Prevention Plan & Traffic Control Plan and necessary required implementation by the Client or Consultant.
- Assist project team and management in regards to relevant licences and permits has been in place and implemented.
- Ensure WSH act, regulations and relevant authority's compliances in place and practice on the worksite.
- Assist to conduct safety related trainings, campaigns and awareness for the team.
- Assist to identify unsafe conditions, practices and advise reasonable practical measures to control risks.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management ( Eg: ECO,ECMO, Pavement Supervisor).
- Assist in the implementation & Continual review of WSHEMS.
- Assist to implement and maintain company's GGBS.
Requirements:
- Any degree or diploma in Engineering/Construction.
- MOM registered WSHO with Level C WSH certificate is mandatory.
- Possess valid registration with NEA as Environmental control officer/ECMO with IES.
- Min. 5 years working Experience in Construction sites involved in Civil Engineering, Sewer, Pipe Jacking works.
- Possess Supervise Tunnelling Works for WSH (STW), Confine Space Safety Assessor, Managing Work at Height, Lifting Supervisor Certificates.
- Familiar with PUB requirements. Well versed with MOM Regulations.
- Possess valid Class 3 License.
- A good team player who is hands on and meticulous in his works.
