WORKPLACE SAFETY HEALTH OFFICER

1. Assist Project Managers & Project Engineers to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace.

2. To coordinate and liaise with officers from LTA, JTC, PUB & NPARKS onsite and oversees project

with full co-operation with each other.

3. Conduct site safety inspection and enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.

4. Conduct Monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues.

5. Regular inspection on the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environment health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard.

6. Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations.

7. Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly.

8. Investigate all accidents which occurred and recommending appropriate health & safety measures to prevent

the re-occurrence.

9. Ensure the WSH management programme are effectively implemented and maintained.

10. Promote awareness among staff, workers, sub contractors, suppliers, etc.

11. Conduct and plan safety training awareness programme.

12. Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.

13. Any other ad hoc duties assigned by project managers and project engineers.
