WORKPLACE SAFETY HEALTH OFFICER / AUDITOR

Work Location: Tuas, Singapore
Project Duration: October 2026 - March 2027
Working Hours: 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Project-based / Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Workplace Safety, Health & WSH Officer /Auditor to support workplace safety and health management for a project at Tuas.

The successful candidate will provide professional WSH advice, conduct workplace inspections and audits, monitor WSH performance, and work closely with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure effective implementation of workplace safety and health requirements.

Requirements& Qualifications

  • MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in marine, port, or related industrial environments will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and practices.
  • Experience in conducting WSH inspections, audits, risk assessments, and workplace safety reviews.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, workers, and authorities.
  • Able to work independently and manage WSH matters in a project environment.
  • Good report-writing, presentation, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide professional WSH advice and support to clients on workplace safety and health matters.
  2. Conduct regular WSH inspections, audits, and site assessments.
  3. Compile, review, and submit WSH reports and relevant documentation.
  4. Arrange, coordinate, and attend WSH meetings with clients, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
  5. Prepare and present WSH performance statistics and reports to clients.
  6. Liaise with relevant government authorities and regulatory agencies where required.
  7. Conduct WSH training, toolbox meetings, briefings, and awareness programmers as required.
  8. Review and provide recommendations onWSH Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
  9. Evaluate the effectiveness of WSH implementation and safety practices at the worksite.
  10. Monitor and evaluate the WSH performance of main contractors and subcontractors.
  11. Follow up on WSH findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, and improvement measures.
  12. Provide support on other WSH-related matters as required by the client.
