Duties of WSH Coordinator
- Report to WSH Manager
- Assist the WSH Manager in achieving the objectives of the Safety and Health Management System and enforcing at the worksites.
- Assist the occupier of the worksite to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite
- Conduct the WSH Inspection and recommend corrective measures to rectify any unsafe conditions of workplaces and unsafe practices
- Recommend to the occupier of the worksite to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice and
- Investigate all accidents / dangerous occurrence and correct causes to prevent future Occurrence.
- Maintain the Site Safety records
- Conduct safety talks /toolbox meetings
- Promote the safety awareness among sub-contractors and workers
- Promote the safety conduct of work generally within the worksite and Comply with the risk assessment and safe work procedures at all times.
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
- Promotes safe practices at the job site.
- Enforces safety guidelines.
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker's compensation claims
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
- Carry out PTW Monitoring and review.
