Job Description

We are seeking a proactive WSH Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct inspections and investigations, coordinate training, and promote a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate has knowledge of health and safety regulations, strong communication skills, and experience in risk assessment and incident management.

Key Responsibilities not limited to

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with local workplace safety regulations and company standards
  • Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation
  • Coordinate employee safety orientation and ongoing training programs
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response procedures
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborate with supervisors and employees to improve workplace safety culture
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and prepare reports
  • Track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure
  • Assist with audits and regulatory inspections
  • Promote health and wellness initiatives within the organization

Requirements

  • Minimum O Level
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in workplace health and safety, compliance, or related roles preferred
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to details and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to conduct investigations and prepare reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Good to Have

  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • OSHA or equivalent safety training certification
  • Risk Assessment certification

Working Conditions

  • Combination of office and on-site work environments
  • May involve conducting inspections in warehouses, construction sites, manufacturing plants, or office facilities
  • Occasional after-office-hour support during emergencies or audits
