Workplace Safety and Health Officer

Job Description

• Implement and maintain the Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) in accordance with WSH Act and regulations

• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits

• Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with MOM, BCA and other statutory requirements

• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training for site personnel

• Liaise with relevant authorities, consultants, and project teams on WSH matters

• Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation

• Advise management on safety improvements and preventive measures

  Job Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant construction/site safety experience

  • Familiar with WSH Act, Codes of Practice, and local safety regulations

  • Strong communication and reporting skills

  • Able to work independently on site
