Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out duties inaccordance with the WSH Act.
• Assist in theimplementation of the EHS management system.
• Ensure compliance withall applicable legal requirements during site activities.
• Conduct daily WSHinspections for machinery, equipment, plants, and installations.
• Function as the SiteEHS Assessor to verify hazardous works.
• Conduct EHS inductioncourses for new employees and contractors.
• Brief workers andsub-contractors on Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures.
• Identify WSH hazardsand implement effective control measures.
• Prepare monthly WSHreports, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and Permit to Workssubmissions as per Main Contractor requirements.
• Ensure workers andsub-contractors comply with the EHS Management System and applicable legalrequirements.
• Maintain and monitorEHS records and checklists.
• Participate andfacilitate in both Internal and External audits.
• Investigate and reportall WSH incidents and near misses.
• Conduct WSH and relatedtraining sessions.
• Perform any otherduties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.

Requirements:

• WSQ AdvancedCertificate in WSH or Safety Coordinator Training Course.
• WAH AssessorCertificate.
• Risk Management Coursecompletion.
• Responsible with apositive attitude.
• A team player with theability to work independently.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the WSH-related industry.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
