Workplace Safety & Health Officer

Job Description & Requirements

We are an interior contracting A&A firm on the path of growth. We are inviting an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our fast expansion team as WSH Officer. In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing workplace safety and health matters across our A&A projects, from project commencement through to completion. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective safety practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture across our project sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

. Preparation and implementation of Safety Program

. Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and latest WSH Act

. Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients

. Participate and involve in GGBS, Design for Safety (DFS), ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and audit

. Drive, co-ordinate and implement all Workplace Safety and Health/ Environmental practices

. Constantly maintain and improve the Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control standard on the site

. Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities

. Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities

. Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management or Project Director

Job Requirements

. MOM registered WSH Officer

. At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Building or Renovation projects

. Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety

. Dynamic and motivated personality with good communicative and interpersonal skills

. Good leadership to lead a team of WSH Coordinators
