Active Directory - WINDOWS - VMWare

Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with strong expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server, and VMware virtualization technologies, with additional knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Nutanix infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, designing, and managing enterprise-level infrastructure solutions in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities . Provide support and administration for Active Directory services, ADFS, DFS, and SFTP. . Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows systems (2008/2012/2016) in hybrid environments. . Manage day-to-day operational issues, monitoring, and problem resolution across Windows client/server/storage/mobile devices. . Administer and optimize VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter Management Suite, Site Recovery Manager, VRA, VROPS, VRNI, and vRealize Log Insight. . Install, configure, and manage x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies (HP, Dell, HP SIM). . Support basic administration of storage platforms (NetApp, EMC, IBM, etc.). . Perform installation, configuration, and administration of components in large VMware environments following best practices.

. Design and manage VM templates, ensuring proper right-sizing using vCenter Operations Manager. . Administer Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, File/Print services, DNS, DHCP, Clustering, and RDS. . Develop, design, and implement patch management systems (WSUS, SMS, SCCM, VMware Update Manager). . Plan and implement VMware DRS, HA, Fault Tolerance, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity solutions. . Support cloud integration with in-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, Auto-scaling, etc.). . Assess client workloads and develop cloud adoption roadmaps and business cases.

. Install, configure, and manage Nutanix nodes including IPMI setup, AOS installation, Prism monitoring, and DR/backup integration.

. Configure VMware clusters in Nutanix and patch ESXi hosts in Nutanix VMware clusters. . Perform applications management in Prism Central. . Ensure system integration, performance, and reliability across latforms.

Requirements . Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field. . Minimum of 6+ years in IT infrastructure with strong background in architecting, implementing, and managing Windows and VMware environments. . Strong technical expertise in Active Directory, ADFS, DFS, SFTP Windows Server (2008/2012/2016) administration in hybrid setups . VMware vSphere, vCenter, SRM, VRA, VROPS, VRNI, vRealize Log Insight

. Server hardware (HP, Dell) and converged infrastructure Storage technologies (NetApp, EMC, IBM) - basic level

. Patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, VMware Update Manager) . Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) . Nutanix platform (installation, configuration, Prism management) . In-depth knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning for both physical and virtual machines. . Strong knowledge of networking and storage concepts from a Windows/Platform perspective. . Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate across teams and interface with customers.

. Ability to assess environments and design world-class infrastructure solutions leveraging best practices.

Technical Requirements - . Provide Support for Active Directory services, ADFS, DFS, SFTP. . Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows systems (2008/2012/2016) in Hybrid environment

. Provide support to Windows systems including day-to-day operational issues, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage & mobile devices . Proficient in DFS

. Experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, venter management suite, Site Recovery Manager, VRA, VROPS, VRNI, VRealize Log Insight Experience with x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies including HP, Dell, , HP SIM

. Basic experience with any of the storage platforms including NetApp, EMC, IBM, Client Knowledge of Storage and network from Windows/Platform perspective

. Experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of components in a large VMware environment centered around best practices, to include vCenter, VMware Update Manager, vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Orchestrator, vCenter Cloud Automation Center, vCenter Site Recovery Manager

. Experience in VM template design and leveraging vCenter Operations Manager to right size, virtual servers . Experience with Microsoft technologies including - AD / File / Print / DNS / DHCP / Client / Clustering / RDS

. In-depth knowledge and working of VMWare / ESX Server / vCenter Server, Microsoft 2012/2008 Servers . To Develop, Plan, Design and Build patch management system for Windows and Virtualization using WSUS, SMS, SCCM VMware Update Manager.

. To develop, plan, design and Build VMware DRS, VMware HA, System Fault Tolerance, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning for Physical and Virtual Machines in Production and Non Production

. In depth knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, S3, ELB, Autoscaling etc. . Proven experience assessing clients workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap . Proven knowledge of AWS platform and tools . Installation of Physical Nutanix nodes / Configuration of IPMI

. Understanding of AOS(NOS) and Software Installation (Foundation)

. Configure VMware cluster in Nutanix / Nutanix Node Management in VMWARE . Patching ESXi Hosts in a Nutanix VMWARE Cluster

. Installing / Configuration / Monitor / Troubleshoot CVM and health in Prism . Disaster Recovery and Backup integration with Nutanix

. Applications Management in Prism Central

Other Requirements -

. Certifications and hands-on exposure with skillsets in relevant areas Must have strong communication skills (Verbal and Written) and the ability to articulate task management, priorities, and issues, participate in customer visits, conference calls, and assisting with defining the scope of services tasks . Assess customer environment and requirements and design world-class solutions, leveraging best practices and best-of-breed technologies Performs system integration tasks

Preferred Qualifications -

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field . At least Six (6+) years of information technology work experience and experience architecting, implementing, and/or managing virtual infrastructure environments

One or more of the following certifications

. VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

. VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)

. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

. Microsoft Azure or AWS Solution Architect Certified

. NSX Certified but not mandatory

. Nutanix NPP 5.5
