As a Wine Sommelier, you will play a key role in guest engagement, wine service, and overall dining experience, while actively supporting floor service and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Recommend and serve wines to guests, with a focus on Burgundy selections
Provide wine pairing suggestions to complement the omakase menu
Deliver warm, attentive hospitality and personalised guest service
Assist in food and beverage service during service hours
Support table service, clearing, and service flow when required
Manage wine presentation, storage, and basic inventory
Train service staff on basic wine knowledge and service standards
Who We're Looking For
Prior experience as a Wine Sommelier or wine-focused service role
Strong hospitality mindset and passion for guest interaction
Knowledge of wine service standards Burgundy knowledge is a strong advantage
Well-groomed, confident, and articulate in guest communication
Team player willing to assist in overall service operations
Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
