A leading Trading firm in APAC is looking to hire an experienced Windows Engineer to join its growing Technology team. This is an opportunity to work in a high-performance, collaborative, fast-paced engineering team supporting a large-scale Windows environment across multiple regions.
Role overview
- Own and support a Windows-based enterprise environment across desktop and server infrastructure
- Operate in a hybrid on-premise and cloud setup with a strong focus on identity, security, and automation
- Partner closely with regional and global teams to support critical systems in a 24x5 trading environment
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, conditional access, and security controls
- Manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows 10/11 desktop environments
- Support and maintain a hybrid Exchange Online / on-prem setup
- Manage endpoint deployments, updates, and policies using SCCM and Microsoft Intune
- Troubleshoot Windows endpoints, Intune enrolment issues, and Microsoft cloud services
- Implement and enforce security best practices across Windows, identity, and email platforms
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration, and reporting
- Provide regional support during APAC hours, with collaboration across US and EMEA teams
Required background
- 3+ years of experience in a Windows Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar infrastructure role
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Windows desktop environments
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD, and access management concepts
- Experience administering Exchange Online in a production environment
- Proven experience using Intune and endpoint management tools
- Strong PowerShell automation skills
- Experience delivering and supporting complex infrastructure projects
