About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Windows Engineer to support a high-performance, mission-critical IT environment. This role focuses on maintaining a stable, secure, and highly available Wintel infrastructure, supporting core business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
- Manage core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Maintain and optimize VMware / Hyper-V virtualization platforms
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
- Monitor system health to ensure maximum uptime and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve L2/L3 infrastructure issues
- Support backup and disaster recovery operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business-critical applications
- Maintain documentation and adhere to change management and operational controls
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Windows / Wintel infrastructure
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory and core Windows services
- Solid experience in VMware or Hyper-V environments
- Experience supporting high-availability environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, ownership mindset
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Citrix / VDI environments
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (e.g. NetBackup, Veeam)
- Basic PowerShell scripting
