Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical escalation point for production support and complex incidents.

  • Assign and manage technical tasks within the team, encourage collaboration, and share best practices.

  • Support team skill development and provide training where required.

  • Manage service improvements for Windows environments, Failover Clusters, Hyper-V, VMware, AWS, GCP, and HPE hardware (DL/Synergy/Simplivity/Alletra series).

  • Proactively maintain system availability and reliability in line with SLAs.

  • Implement automation and LEAN best practices to improve efficiency.

  • Participate in technology reviews, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations.

  • Engage with clients to manage daily requests, risk mitigation, and service quality.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies, including financial security and fraud prevention.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Engineering degree.

  • 8 to10 years experience managing Windows environments, including 3 to5 years in financial institutions.

  • Subject matter expert in Windows OS, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering.

  • Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, VROPS, VRLI) is a plus.

  • Strong experience with HPE hardware (DL, Synergy, Simplivity, Alletra).

  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and workflow integration tools.

  • Knowledge of patching tools and Active Directory.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.

  • Customer-focused with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Willing to work rotating shifts covering Europe business hours and participate in on-call support.
