Our client is a well-established organization with a strong portfolio in the construction and infrastructure sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant EHS Manager, in hopes of reinforcing governance in safety, environmental, and quality systems across projects. They are located in the (Central) - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee QEHS and ECM systems across corporate and project operations
- Assess workplace risks and implement mitigation and control measures
- Manage ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 management systems and documentation
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external certification processes
- Deliver QEHS training and facilitate management review sessions
- Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance across stakeholders
- Manage sustainability initiatives and maintain certifications (e.g. BizSAFE, GGBS)
- Analyze incident data and implement preventive and corrective actions
- Support project sites with QEHS advisory, audits, and tender requirements
- Liaise with authorities and maintain centralized records via internal systems
Requirements:
- Degree in Workplace Safety, Health, Environmental or related discipline
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in QEHS management within construction or engineering environments
- Hands-on experience with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018 systems
- Exposure to internal audits, regulatory compliance, training delivery, and tender support
