Wholesale Trade Manager

Objective:
Analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue in creating effective business plans for the company.

Job Responsibilities:
In-charge Shop Development, Shop Operations and Wholesale department

① Shop Development with Japanese bakery concept
. Planning, execution and evaluation to sustenance marketing and PR activities for new shop opening.
. Identifying and mapping business strengths and customers needs.
. Market research and competitors analysis in both Singapore and Malaysia.

②Shop Operation
. New item costing calculation and decision making to improvise profitable items and/or eliminate non-sellable items.
. To provide the monthly P&L analysis for all shops, incorporating insights gained from customer service to highlight performance and ideas for resolutions and improvements.
. Negotiate with shops landlord for reviewing existing/ new leasing contract agreement.
. Introduce innovative method to improve shop operation (cashless etc).
. Evaluates and analysis all the current processes and provides recommendations on improvements.

Job Requirements:
. Minimum 10 years of working experience in Bakery industry.
. Possess qualification of Bachelors Degree in Economics.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
. Proficiency in Japanese language, both written and spoken (as required to communicate with Japanese-speaking Management to interpret data, insights and present findings).
. Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when assigned.
. Must be able to travel on regular basis to subsidiary companies in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur & Penang) for market and business review).
