Wheelchairs Technician

A wheelchair technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wheelchairs and other mobility equipment. Their primary goal is to ensure that customers mobility devices are safe, functional, and tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and Repair - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with the wheelchair and other mobility equipment.

- Maintenance and Inspection: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance .

- Installation and Configuration: Install and configure wheelchairs and other mobility equipment to meet customers specific needs and preferences.

- Customer Education and Support: Educate customers on the proper use, care, and safety of their mobility equipment, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with power tools and hand tools.

- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, caregivers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions .

- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, often in high-pressure situations.
