Job Scope & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Western-style dishes (e.g., pasta, grilled items, breakfast sets, sandwiches, etc.) and local-style fish soup according to caf standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all dishes.
• Handle food preparation including cutting, marinating, boiling, and grilling.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen at all times, following SFA food hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Assist in menu improvement and contribute new dish ideas suitable for caf customers (local & foreign).
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Uphold food safety, minimize wastage, and practice cost control.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook in Western cuisine or fish soup preparation is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude, punctual, and responsible.
