Job Description

Key Responsibilities

. Conduct QA/QC inspections for fabrication, installation, and welding works at site.

. Perform visual inspection of welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

. Coordinate and monitor welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material traceability.

. Carry out inspection on piping, structural, and mechanical installation works.

. Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records.

. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors on quality matters.

. Monitor Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities such as RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT.

. Ensure all inspection and testing activities comply with project quality plans and international standards.

. Participate in site inspections, audits, and punch list clearance.

. Ensure corrective and preventive actions are properly implemented.

Requirements

. Minimum Diploma / Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant QA/QC and welding inspection experience.

. Familiar with welding codes, standards, and inspection procedures.

. Able to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.

. Good communication and reporting skills.

. Experience in construction, oil & gas, marine, or fire protection projects preferred.

Preferred Certifications

. CSWIP

. PCN

. ASNT

. STCW

. Welding Inspector / NDT Level II certification will be an added advantage.
