QC Inspector (Welding)

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections for precision/semiconductor components.
• Use measuring tools such as Mitutoyo Quick Vision, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Record inspection results and maintain proper documentation.
• Report and follow up on defects and quality issues.
• Work with Production & QA teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support audits and customer inspections.
• Identify recurring issues and guide junior QC staff when required.

Requirements:

• Must possess relevant recognized certifications, AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent.
• Min 2 years experience in relevant job scope.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, P&ID, isometrics, pipe-support drawings, piping fabrication dimensions, flange orientations, installations.
• Experience with welding inspection techniques used in construction of FSO/ FPSO/ SAW/ SMAW/ GTAW/ GMAW/ FCAW.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, etc).
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with people of all level.
