Job Summary

Perform welding tasks by reading blueprints and operating welding machines to produce and repair metal parts while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to guide welding tasks
• Set up and operate welding machines and tools to join or repair metal components
• Inspect and test welds to verify quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
• Repair broken or damaged metal parts to restore functionality and integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience as a welder (1-2 years preferred)
• Basic knowledge of welding tools and techniques
