Welder

Job Description :-

- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.

- Familiar with common tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller
& etc.

- Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.

- Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved

Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings.

- Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.

- Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.

- Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.

- Collaborate with fabricators, machinists, and engineers.

- Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.

Requirements :-

- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification in welding (IACS, or similar) preferred.

- Proven experience as a Welder or in metal fabrication.

- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, arc, and/or gas welding techniques.

- Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols.

- Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
