WELDER

Responsibilities

1. fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.
2. Perform sheet metal Welding
3. Weld metal components using appropriate techniques and materials
4. Inspect welded surfaces and structures for quality and defects
5. Repair damaged metal parts or structures
6. Maintain tools and welding equipment
7. Follow safety standards and procedures at all times
8. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
9. Able to carry out heavy lifting

Requirements:

1. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
2. Ability to read technical drawings
3. Knowledge of different metals and welding techniques
4. Attention to detail and precision
5. Physical stamina and strength
6. Understanding of workplace safety practices
7. Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
8. Willing to do OT as required.
