The Role
- Develop and implement new repair processes for aero-engine components.
- Prepare, update, and maintain work instructions for component repairs.
- Design tooling and fixtures to support repair operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.
- Manage qualifications of new machines and processes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance robustness, efficiency, and repair yield.
- Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
- Provide technical recommendations and dispositions to the Operations team.
- Actively contributes to continuous improvement and Kaizen projects.
- Perform additional engineering-related tasks as required.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
The Talent
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment.
- Familiarity with repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot Peening, Machining, or similar.
- Highly motivated with strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
